Family Development

The Family Development Program (FDP) serves individuals and families who require assistance to ensure safe living environments for their children.

This Program serves parents who require support, guidance, feedback, and skill development to improve family functioning and ensure safe and healthy living environments for their children.

Services provided: 

  • Prioritize meeting children’s emotional, social, and physical needs
  • Educate on specific child development and age-appropriate child management skills
  • Understand the root of difficulties within the families 
  • Understand the importance of attachment to successful family relationships

How do you get into this program?

Referrals are received from Child Protection Social Workers from Core Victoria and West Shore branches of the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).
