A non-profit leader for over 17 years, Sharon has had opportunities to develop new programs and build highly effective teams to meet growing community needs. Sharon is passionate about and committed to the provision of trauma-informed services for vulnerable children, adults, and families in our communities.
Our Thrive team acknowledges that our agency stands and works on the unceded Lək̓ʷəŋən territory of the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations. We also acknowledge the five W̱SÁNEĆ communities: W̱JOȽEȽP (Tsartlip), BOḰEĆEN (Pauquachin), SȾÁUTW̱,(Tsawout) W̱SIKEM (Tseycum) and MÁLEXEȽ (Malahat), as well as the Sc'ianew (Beecher Bay), T’Sou-ke, and Pacheedaht Nations and the Spune’laxutth’ (Penelekut) tribe where our work extends. We are committed to acknowledging our relationship with these unceded lands and communities, at staff and Board meetings, and during our hosted events.
