Thrive offers a day program comprised of three different services: Extensions, C.A.T.S., and Stormont. Extensions provides services to people with more independence who do not require personal care. C.A.T.S. offers support to those with higher needs that require personal care. Stormont is entirely community-based and focuses on people who have moderate to high behavioural needs.
All three programs are available to adults 19 and older who have been diagnosed with a developmental disability. These programs offer opportunities for volunteer/employment positions, aid in developing community connections and communication support, create positive routines and strategies, and teach safety awareness, music, cooking and nutrition while sharing resources and knowledge.
All program referrals are typically made to Thrive by a Community Living British Columbia (CLBC) Facilitator.
